P.E.O Sisterhood International Peace Scholarship 2022
Sisterhood established the International Peace Scholarship Fund in 1949 to provide scholarships. The main aim of the scholarship is to support international students to pursue postgraduate studies in USA or Canada. The scholarship is awarded to women who demonstrate need.
However, the award does not cover all academic/personal expenses. Applicants must declare additional funds to cover the estimated cost of studying in the United States.
The International Peace Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to women outside the United States and Canada pursuing advanced degrees from an accredited institution. College or university in the USA and Canada with the expectation that students will return to their home countries to use their education to make a positive impact and promote world peace. The maximum amount awarded to a student is $12,500. Smaller amounts may be granted based on individual needs.

Those Qualified For the Scholarship
To qualify for her first scholarship, an applicant must complete a full year of coursework, be enrolled, and reside for the full school year.
Doctoral students who have already completed their studies and are exclusively working on a dissertation are excluded from the first application.
International students attending Cottey College are qualified to apply for a scholarship.
A student who is a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Canada is not qualified.
Only one resident student is allowed for tax reasons. Scholarships will not be awarded for online courses, research, internships or internships unless combined with coursework.
